In Honor of The Tatas- Sponsor Spotlight- Little Shop of Elllesee

Now, I have already introduced you to The Little Shop of ElleSee because I just absolutely love her work. I am so happy that she has decided to be a sponsor in the "In Honor of the Tatas Event".

The Little Shop of ElleSee has great drawings, pictures, and cards! Last time I totally raved about her cards (bc yes they are adorbs) but today I want to show you about some of the other great items in her shop!

This photograph she has of an Orchid is absolutely breathtaking.

This picture just gives me the chills.

Personally, even though I will never admit it to my mother, I love pictures of flowers. *Sidenote, when I was in college my mother used to send me framed pictures that she took of the flowers in our backyard. I called her crazy. Which is why I won't admit to liking flower pictures in front of her....but I digress....... *smile*

Along with having gorgeous photography in her shop... LC's drawings are SUPER CUTE.

Um a monster holding candy corn. This picture could have been specifically made for me. I am a little monster *gaga reference* and I am addicted to candy corn.

This is perfect for Halloween coming up- or in my opinion, perfect for all year round (because who doesn't love candy corn?).

Well, The Little Shop of ElleSee will be giving away an item for the In Honor of the Tatas Event starting on October 21st!!!! I won't spill the beans on what she is giving away (you'll have to come back and see!). But I can promise you, the package of items given away will be AMAZING. Love Pink <3

Fashionista Giveaway Sponsor- Contemporary Jewelry

Contemporary Jewelry is one of my amazing sponsors for the Fall Fashionista Giveaway starting on October 14th (mark your calendars folks!)

Because I know when I think of Fashion, one of the first things I picture is jewelry. I was taught to never leave the house without earrings and eyeliner (thanks mom!). Now, added to that, I can't leave the house without all of my rings on (4-5) or else I feel completely naked. So jewelry has always been a big part of my life.

Beatriz, the creator of Contemporary Jewelry, has some really exquisite items! Sheek, Simple, and Stylish are the words that come to my mind.

Some of my favorite items from Contemporary Jewelry is the rings. I'm obsessed! Look!

*beautiful!*

Along with the gorgeous rings, Beatriz also makes necklaces, earrings, bracelets- it all!

Speaking of bracelets... I have to show this one off. I love this unique design Beatriz did!

Do you want to get to know Beatriz a little better? I know you do!

"Ever since I was a young girl, I have been attracted to beautiful jewelry. I would stare into every jewelry store window, entranced by flowing metal forms and brightly colored gems. I doodled necklaces and rings in my notebooks. Then, one day, I realized that there were actual people who designed and made these pieces, so why couldn´t I be one of them too?

This was the start of my metalsmithing. In time, I came to learn how to forge metal, cast ingots, roll sheet, solder and other techniques to give form to the designs in my mind. Because of my inquisitive nature, I usually stretch techniques to their limits, creating my own way of working. And, of course, I have quite a collection of books. Everything is better with books."

Contemporary Jewelry so kindly will be giving away a gift card to her shop for the Fashionista Giveaway! Yay!!!! But, since I love surprises, I won't be telling you how much it is for. You'll just have to come back here on October 14th to see!

Until then, don't be shy- feel free to stop by Beatriz's Blog or Facebook page! I'm sure that those will be some entries into the giveaway! :)

Fashionista Giveaway Sponsor- Enchanting Dreams!

Enchanting Dreams is one of my lovely sponsors for the Fall Fashionista Giveaway happening on October 14th! This giveaway is all about fashion, so OF COURSE I had to participate.

But, who says "fashion" is all about your outfit? Enchanting Dreams shows you that even your post-it notes can be fashionable!

Yes. You read that correctly! Enchanting Dreams makes amazing paper items, cards, and post it holders. How can that be fashionable, you ask?

IT'S A PURSE SHAPED HOLDER!

Yes. I am so happy to show you this, because I think this is one of the cutest items since sliced bread.

Pink with Brown Polka Dots Mini Purse Post It Note Holder

Yep. For your post its!

Can't you see yourself displaying this nicely on your desk at work? Or even having you daughter walk around with it like a "blues clues notebook" for girls?

Kristen, the shop owner, is honestly one of the nicest people ever. I know I have only spoken to her via email, but I can just tell how sweet she is. She has been more then helpful giving me info about her shop and her items and is just an all around good person.

A little about Kristen? SURE!

"I have always been a crafty person, making cards for family and friends for their birthdays. When they found out that I actually made the card they would always say I should consider selling them. I learned about Etsy from a family member. Initially I signed up just to be a buyer on Etsy, but then I decided to start a shop and see what happened. The first day I listed a card, I got my first sale and have been selling since then!"

Want to see some of her cards? I know you're curious.....

Job Update

So I know you all are just dying to hear about how my new job is working out for me.

IT. IS. AMAZING.

Yes, it is. I absolutely love it. I couldn't be happier.

It is a complete 180 from my last job. I don't have a phone! That is the best part! I don't have to worry about countless customers calling me up and making fun of my name. Saying I should be a man. Saying my parents must be disappointed. Asking me repeatedly to spell my name, because there is no way there is a woman named Stevie. NO MORE OF THAT!

I get to deal with surveys and social media! Um, hello? I love social media. That is what I'm doing for Jewels for Hope... so now to actually have a STEADY income doing what I love- amazing.

My bosses are great- they are so nice and easy going. They actually trust me and don't have to "monitor" me like at my previous job (I actually am very trustworthy- my last job monitored everyone lol so don't get the wrong impression).

It's so refreshing to actually like what you do. I am so happy I have this job. The hours are in the morning, so it still gives me plenty of time to work freelance for the deli still and to do everything for Jewels for Hope. WINNING <------ yes, I am embodying Mr. Sheen right now.

So yep. Everything is falling into place. Now my next goal? For Jewels for Hope to become famous. Let's make it work, folks. <3

Handmade Sponsor Love

I have some shout out's to do.

Some of the oh-so-kind members of The Artisan Group and some other amazzzzing handmade artists, offered to sponsor some of my upcoming giveaways. I am so happy! I love promoting handmade, and the fact that I can get some of these amazingly talented people some traffic to their sites actually makes me smile quite a bit.

So, since they will be giving some exceptional handcrafted items away, the least I can do is give them some extra shout outs, right? RIGHT!

In this post I will simply tell you the shops involved. I don't want to ruin any surprises so early since the giveaway events I will be participating in start on October 14th and go until November 25th. So I will not be telling you exactly what will be given away (you'll just have to check back during that time!!!).

Feel free to browse through the shops listed. Everyone is so sweet and I love their products! And, they were nice enough to give all of you special followers a chance to win some handmade items. What is better than that?!?!!

The Little Shop of ElleSee

I am thrilled to introduce you to one of my sponsors, The Little Shop of ElleSee.

LC, the creator, will be sponsoring 2 upcoming giveaways over the next couple of months (don't worry, you'l hear more about these giveaways VERY soon!). This shop has Art Prints and Photography by LC McDonald. Vibrant Landscape and Nature Photography from Canada and the United States. Cute, Simple Drawings and Illustrations, Nursery Art and Home Decor. Stationery, Greeting Cards and Artist Trading Cards (ACEO).

Personally, I absolutely love love love her cards (which, coincidentally are on sale right now!)

Um, a monster in a tutu on a card? adorable.

Perfect for any age, any occasion. Because even me, being at the YOUNG age of 25 would love to receive this card! I mean, wouldn't you? (nod your head yes in agreement)

Along with having adorable items, LC has been such a pleasure to work with! Here is a short bio she has given me to give you a little insight into who LC is :)

I am currently a stay-at-home mom that enjoys curling up on the sofa, with a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream, to watch a good movie. When I am not reading my son stories, I like to draw, paint, and photograph nature. I love simplicity, and believe that it is reflected in my art and my lifestyle.

As much as I love intricate in your face items, I think I have to agree with LC with her thoughts on loving simplicity as well (and duh, I agree with enjoying vanilla bean ice cream- yum!).

Her work is simple and elegant but also extremely talented with a touch of fun added to it --and (in my opinion) perfect for anyone.

Well, LC will be giving away some items soon- so definitely be sure to keep checking back! And you can get ahead of the game by liking her facebook page or following her blog. Because of course those will be two of the entries into the giveaways!
