Gratitude Pendants

I am so happy to show off this new design to you.

My mother and I are big believers of getting back what you put out into the world. We try and be positive and happy and put out good vibes into the universe - knowing that it will in turn, come back to us.

We all have our "down" moments. When we think we aren't good enough, aren't smart enough, nothing is working out in our lives, we don't have enough money, etc, etc. It happens to the best of us- we get caught in our own heads and forget to be grateful for what we actually do have in our lives.

After tons of thought on this, and after my mother re-read one of her favorite books (The Secret) we came up with.....

 The Gratitude Pendant

This handcrafted pendant was created with the intention to bring joy and happiness to all who wear it. Every time you take hold of this necklace, think of something you are grateful for.

Be grateful; Be happy; Be hopeful.

May this Gratitude Pendant bring you positivity and love.

By putting out into the world what makes you happy and grateful, in return you should get happiness and love coming back to you. Push out the negative thoughts and we hope you are showered with love and positivity!

What do you think of our new design?

It's all in the Handbag!

I love handbags. From clutches to satchels to tote bags. Anything really. I wish I had enough money to have a different bag for every outfit. Until then, I can just look at all the pretties from afar.

Browsing through Etsy looking at some of The Artisan Group's items it is making me want to buy each one! Something about summer makes me want to carry tiny clutches. I don't need my gloves and lotions and the million other items I usually carry around during winter. Cute, tiny bags that can fit my cell phone and lip gloss is really I need to go out for a night in the summer.

Check out some of my faves!

1. Flower Clutch from Girl By Aileen

2. Leopard Clutch from The Hungry Penguin

3. Leather Clutch from fellow CT'er Pink Tulips

4. The Katie Clutch from Good Marvin

5. Hand Painted Clutch from Hoshii Designs

#IWantThemAll..... yes, they are that great they deserve a hashtag. Don't you agree?

Bling it On with Anjolee Jewels!

If you haven't realized it by now, I'm a little bit obsessed with jewelry. Before I even started working with my mother making handmade jewelry, I always was "bling-ed" out. I think I got that trait from my mother, actually. She not one of those mom's who have a full face of makeup or struts around in high heels... but from the day we (myself and my sisters) got our ears pierced there has been 2 rules in our house. 1. Never leave the house without eyeliner... and 2. Always have a pair of earrings on.

Strict mother, I know.

So you can see that my love for anything shiny has been with me for as long as I can remember. In honor of my love of jewels, and the fact that summer is quickly approaching,  I wanted to put together a little "gift guide" of some special gems you can get your fine lady this summer; whether it be for your anniversary, birthday, or just because.

For all of you reading this, yes, I do have a summer birthday, and sure, I'd be A-Okay with you buying me any of these lovelies.

1. This gorgeous tennis bracelet, diamond beauty from Anjolee jewelry.

Anything that has diamonds, makes me look like one of those cartoon characters that has gems floating through their eyes... just call me Dopy.

 2. Diamond Hoop Earrings (because my mother did teach me right... never leave the house without them!)

In the summer more than normal, I tend to have extremely big hair.. this humidity is not my friend. So having a pretty hoop on makes me think people will look at the sparkle first, before realizing I may look like a poodle.

3.  My absolute favorite... a simple Shiny Circle Bracelet

I love a simple, delicate bracelet. Lately, I've been wearing more gold rather than silver. I feel like in the summer months, I like to go a bit more "bohemian" with the gold and brass looks rather than silver all the time (which is how I usually am the rest of the year). This bracelet would be perfect arm candy stacked with some gemstone bangles and maybe some turquoise rings.

I was so happy when I came across Anjolee jewelry... I was instantly hooked. These pieces I picked out would do wonders to my jewelry wardrobe. Hopefully the boy is reading this and will get some hints for my birthday coming up this summer.

What do you think? Any of these pieces catch your eye?

For more of Anjolee's jewelry check out their Facebook or Pintrest page! You won't regret it!

Big Things Are Happening

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind. My mom and I have had numerous conversations on what we really want to do with Jewels For Hope. We always love making so many different kinds of items, we are constantly discussing if we should only do one thing or branch out and do tons of products. We struggle with this a lot because we think that it would definitely look more uniform if we only did one specific item in different variations of color/size/etc. But we also feel, that would be a bit boring for us. We like to change it up and make new fun items.

After our week of discussions, we decided we are going to do what we love for a bit. We started out making big elaborate pieces that are funky and real "show stoppers!". We haven't done that in a while, trying to get our pieces into stores..... making them simple, more available to the public. Don't get me wrong, I love that our jewelry is in stores now. I'm so SO happy about it and forever grateful. But we want to do something a little bit more daring now.

We are creating a brand new line of jewelry. Definite statement pieces.

I want to show them off SO badly, but we are waiting. Trying to put together a full collections before we launch it. We are so excited about it, even my mother had tears in her eyes during one of our talks because she was so happy! This is just what we need.

I can't wait to show you all! I hope you come back to check it out. Big things are happening!

Jewels For Hope on Etsy; Perfect Gifts for Kids

We love Etsy. I know, I know, right now Etsy is getting a lot of crap for not allowing all handmade items onto their site. Personally, I think that is disappointing, but I will always love Etsy. I have found some amazing items from different Etsy shops- high quality, lasting products.

Jewels For Hope will always have an Etsy account. We started out on Etsy and feel like it is something we should keep going. We do have some different items though on our shop compared to our website. We have some less expensive products shown on Etsy- as well as some of our standard items.

Here are some items from our Etsy shop. What do you think?

Hope Keychain

Jasmine Princess Jasmine Jasmine Necklace Diseny Jewely, Girls Necklace Disney Fan

We think that having our Etsy Shop have some items a little less pricey is a way to get our jewelry out there for everyone. We feel these items are geared more towards kids and think they are the perfect gifts to give to little girls! What do you think?

Do you know anyone who would love that Jasmine Necklace? I know I do!
